I was born and raised in Firenze, Italy, where I spent the first 26 years of my life. I grew up immersed in the beauty of the Tuscan land, surrounded by visual art and deeply fascinated by the work of the old masters of the renaissance; Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli and Michelangelo’s work opened my eyes to the incredible possibilities of human imagination and perception, and their work has shaped my way of looking at the world.

Leonardo taught me that it is possible to cultivate and excel both in the artistic field and in the technical engineering world. With that lesson in mind, I have pursued both paths from a very early age.

The two paths merged most seriously about 10 years ago, when my computer science background with over 25 years of professional software engineering experience, my deep love for nature and my great passion for the visual arts took off together, molded and landed into the world of photography, digital painting and digital drawing.

Today I continue my software engineering profession in the Pacific Northwest in America, and dedicate myself to digital visual media for my artistic expression; a combination that works in great harmony.
